Snippet of her beloved getaways with Robert on Coney Island.

She had a memorable meeting with Jimi outside the Chelsea hotel, the spot for broke artists in the 60s.
4) The Rolling Stones - Let spend the night together / 1967
Patti was in Paris with her sister Linda when Brian Jones died in 1969. She read in the newspapers, after watching Godard's movie ‘One plus one’ at the cinema: ‘Est mort à 27 ans’.
5) The Velvet Underground - I'm waiting for the man / 1967
Lou Reed, Sterling Morrison, John Cale, Moe Tucker and the singer Nico used to go out at the Max's, as Patti did, the bar where Andy Warhol brought together all the artists of New York. A certain fame was created.
6) Jackie Edwards - How can you hang on to a dream /1967
7) Janis Joplin - Cry Baby / 1970
She also met Janis at the Chelsea Hotel. Patti also wrote a song for her, which she would never use.
8) The Doors - L.A. Woman / 1971
This is Jim Morrison, who died shortly after the release of the Doors' 6th album in 1971 (eponymous “L.A. Woman”), who inspired Patti to fuse poetry with rock and roll.
9) Blue Öyster Cult - Then came the last day of may / 1972
Patti listened to this hit over and over again when it was released.
10) Big Youth - Screaming target /1972
When Patti discovered weed, she started listening some reggae songs.
